RBP continues its ranking of the top 64 college basketball uniforms from the 1988-89 season to the present. For more on the process, read the introduction to the original post. Here are the 4 seeds:
16) UNLV (Larry Johnson): The Runnin' Rebels' duds are ranked this high as much for what they came to represent during the Evil Empire's heyday as for their aesthetic appeal.
15) Colorado (Chauncey Billups): Check out the font on the Buffs' jerseys.
14) Cincinnati (Danny Fortson):We're entering I-wouldn't-change-a-thing-about-that-uniform territory.
13) Syracuse (John Wallace):And here's that second Lawrence Moten sighting that was promised.

A couple of thoughts on the UNLV unis: 1) were only the white ones in shimmer cloth? 2) all teams should go back to the big thick waistband, seriously.
ReplyDeleteAlso, should we expect all of the seeds from here on out to be ones where you actually own the shorts?
Steven,
ReplyDelete1) I'm not sure. I kind of hope so. Maybe the white unis were more shimmery. I do see what you're saying, though.
2) I'm also a fan of the waistbands on the Cincinnati and Syracuse unis from this post.
I own the shorts of three of the remaining 12 teams (so kind of) - though none in the top 4. You own a pair in the top 4.
