Your 2009 National Champions: The North Carolina Tar Heels
In honor of the Tar Heels' fantastic season, I thought it best to post Jamie Foxx's latest music video, which features the computer voice of one T-Pain. This should surprise no one, as T-Pain is omnipresent within the hip-hop community these days. What may surprise you, however, is the video's roster of guest stars. Samuel L. Jackson, Forest Whitaker, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Ron Howard. Yes, Ron Howard, director of Apollo 13 and Opie Taylor from the Andy Griffith Show.
Anyway, congratulations to the 2009 North Carolina Tar Heels and Ron Howard. Well done, gentlemen.

Congrats Tar Heels. You won the most boring NCAA tournament in a good many years.
ReplyDeleteOn to the best part of the post. That video is pretty incredible, and I've yet to get an explanation as to why it happened. I was turned on to it by Huffington Post a little while ago, but no one has given me a good reason as to why Jamie Foxx wanted Ron Howard in his video. Or, why Ron Howard agreed to be in the video? Or, why several other actors not named in this post, and whose names I do not know, but recognize their faces, are in this video? I also am somewhat convinced Jalen Rose is in the background, which would put him in the lead for most cameos by an NBA basketball player in music video. Maybe Jameson can clear up a few of these issues for me.
