CBB Uniforms (1988-89 to Present): 3 Seeds

With this entry, RBP moves into the top 10 of its ranking of the top 64 college basketball uniforms from the 1988-89 season to the present. For more on the process, read the introduction to the original post. Now for the 3 seeds:

12) Kansas (Drew Gooden): The Jayhawks never should have dropped the circus font for the generic-looking trajan they now sport.

11) Duke (Elton Brand): Put your hatred aside, so you can admire a classic uniform design.

10) Brigham Young (Jimmer Fredette):The shorts are pretty average, but the simplicity of the jersey is perfection.

9) Arizona (Salim Stoudamire):My favorite detail is the font used for the name on the back of the jersey.

  1. All great choices and deserving of top spots. I wouldn't have thought of the BYU kits, but they're highly underestimated. The plain font and lack of outline around the letters and numbers were the precursor to the new Adidas NBA grey shooting shirts (which also happen to be one of the few occasions where I like the name under the number).

  2. I should have anticipated you putting the Drew Gooden Kansas duds on here. Watching you watch those Kansas teams was like watching my daughter open presents on Christmas morning.
